In Brighton England, in 1990, a bassist from Belfast recorded a version of Pharaoh House Crash. It was a year of heatwaves, raves and riots.

Pharaoh House Crash was also chosen as his artist name because, as well as sounding like the music he was inspired by (reggae, house and punk) the song's depiction of strikes and riots reminded him of his childhood on the Falls Road during the Troubles.

Debut single Epic Dream - a song about global warming - came out in 1993 and follow up, the Backlash EP that includes songs about domestic abuse and free speech, was released in... 2020.

We Will Stay Here is the latest Protestreaming single by Pharaoh House Crash. The guitar part was recorded by 9 year old Muin Abu Amsha on 28th August 2025 on a beach in Palestine. All royalties go to his family.
